a lazy monday
Mondays are usually a hard day to start for me.
This past weekend I attended a startups & AI walk, went hiking with my wife and brother, and really felt physically drained.
So starting Monday was rough physically.
But I find Mondays tend to be a lot of planning for me. What am I going to accomplish this week? Who do I need to talk to? What needs to happen to progress a little bit further?
Most of today was spent handling admin tasks
- needing to head out to navy yard to receive an access card
- reaching out to communities about a new civictech academy that I am planning (p.s. fill out interest form here https://forms.gle/BRHkt9J1ZgnUTHXSA)
- reaching out to interested parties about spicy-regs (and even booking some meetings)
My day also ended with a surprise email from someone I met at a networking event about defense contracting which I had not a huge invested interest in.
My main goals for this week is to actually try to reach out to gym owners specifically. I think there is an opportunity to help build an AI agent that can reactivate dead leads by nudging them to restart their membership or attend a class. I don't actually know if an opportunity exists though, but I need to go out and verify. But for some reason, I'm always getting cold feet. Maybe tomorrow I can try to be a little braver and make the calls.
